Our Story
We’re a group of gastroenterology professionals and clinicians who share a vision of creating new approaches and solutions for people navigating gut health challenges.
We knew there had to be a better way, we just had to find it.
We wound up in the far east, where we conferred with herbalists in China, Hong Kong & India. From the thousands of herbs used traditionally, two stood out: curcumin and qing-dai (QD), both used for supporting the inflammatory system and digestive problems.
These herbs needed to be optimized, so we brought them back to our lab, and after months of development we began integrating them into our work with community.
The change was immediate. Hundreds of people have shared that they experienced meaningful changes in a relatively short period and continue to incorporate the protocol into their routine.
We launched a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study to see if we could repeat in a clinical trial setting what we were seeing in our experience.
This trial evaluated whether a combination of curcumin with qing dai (CurQD®) could meet the unique nutritional requirements of individuals with bowel issues.
At week 8, data showed 50% of participants experienced meaningful improvement, with 85.7% exhibiting a positive response related to gut balance.
We also found that tailoring the formula to the individual appeared to significantly improve results.
So we created customized formulas to target various stage-based needs.

You do have to live with so much pain
In a retrospective study on CurQD® accepted and presented at the United European Gastroenterology conference in Vienna, researchers analyzed the data of individuals with difficult-to-manage internal gut imbalance referred from 5 top medical centers in Israel.
All participants had high imbalance activity and were not responding to biologics (46%), corticosteroids (41.5%), or biologics/small molecule therapy (31.1%).
After 8-12 weeks on CurQD®, 50% of participants experienced meaningful improvements, and 85.7% experienced a positive response.
CurQD® was found greatly superior to placebo for induction of positive response and improvement in active imbalance, including in individuals with moderate–severe imbalance, of whom half were biologics or immuno-modulators experienced.
A limited CurQD® initial phase followed by curcumin maintenance appeared to maximize the efficacy and safety of this combination approach.
